AS 1288-2006 Glass in buildings-Selection and installation
This Standard was published on 16th January 2006 and will be referenced in the Building Code of Australia 2006, thereby superseding AS 1288-1994.
Changes in AS 1288 allow use security film (organic coating) on greater areas of glass in regard to Human Impact Safety Requirements. The table below shows the maximum allowable glass areas that comply given glass thickness.
