Sunscreen Window Tinting has introduced an innovative new line of window film called 3M Scotchtint Night Vision. With patented technology developed by 3M, Night vision window film delivers energy savings for homes, building managers & increased comfort for tenants.

Sunscreen claims the new film reduces solar heat, controls glare and blocks the sun’s damaging UV rays, but it also has a low reflectivity that assures clear views-both day and night.

Often films with the most sun control and glare-reduction capabilities are the most reflective, making them difficult to see through. Night vision film blocks solar heat by up to 71%, blocks 99% of damaging UV rays and reduces glare by 83%, one of the top performance records in the industry. However, Night vision’s interior reflectivity is significantly lower than competing films, allowing more natural light inside and better views to the outside.

The same 3M technology that tones down the film’s reflectivity also makes it colour-stable, significantly reducing the film fading and turning purple which often affects standard dyed films.

An important feature of Night vision film is its natural colour. Unlike some widow films that cast bluish-grey tones into the room, the Night vision line invites warm, natural light into interior spaces, enhancing the ambience of offices and other workspaces. Sunscreen thinks building and home owners, especially in warm sunny climates, will appreciate the comfort-enhancing and energy-saving advantages that Night vision film offers.

With the ability to significantly block the amount of heat transmitted through windows, Night vision film reduces air conditioning costs in buildings. Also, the film is superior to other sun-control options, such as highly-reflective films, heavy curtains, or blinds.

The new line of Night Vision window film comes in three shades-NV-15, NV-25, NV-35,-from darkest to lightest. Depending upon the location of your home and windows, your authorized 3M window film dealer Sunscreen Window Tinting, can help determine which shade is right for your home. As with other 3M residential window films, Night Vision film carries a limited lifetime warranty for as long as the buyer lives in the home.

NATURAL LIGHT, WITH OUT THE FADING
When you invite the sun into your home, you shouldn’t have to live with fading fabrics, wood, and wallpaper. Reducing fading is an important reason that interior designers and architects often recommend window films. Night Vision window film blocks up to 99% of the sun’s ultraviolet rays and rejects up to 71% of solar heat, so Night vision window films are far more effective than closing blinds and curtains as they work all the time, stopping the sun before it enters the room.
